The Hush Post: The girl accused of stabbing a class I boy in Brightland Inter College school, Lucknow has categorically said that she has not committed the crime. “I want the case to be investigated thoroughly & the real culprit be punished. If I am innocent I must be allowed to walk free. I know I am innocent,” the student of class VI has said.
Earlier, the juvenile justice board had granted interim bail to the girl. After the incident she was sent to the child reformative home for assaulting the boy. Sources say, the age of the girl will be a point of argument as far as this case goes. As on date, she is 10 years and 11 months old. There are chances that this case too like the Pradyuman case could take a twist, in which earlier a class IV employee was arrested but later the actual accused student was arrested.
Hritik, a class I student was allegedly attacked by a girl of the junior section who locked him in the toilet, tied his hands with a dupatta and attacked him with a knife, as the child told the police. When he shouted for help, she stuffed his mouth with a cloth, locked him in and ran away, Hritik alleged. After hearing constant knocking on the door, the discipline-in-charge teacher passing by opened the door of the toilet, and shouted for help. The child is admitted in the hospital. The police recorded his statement in the hospital on Wednesday afternoon. The child’s father is a class IV employee in the school itself. The next date of hearing is January 30.
