The Hush Post: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will come to India next month. On the invitation from the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi he will be in the country from February 17 to February 23.
Pertinently, one important diplomatic issue in the schedule could be the ban of the entry of Indian officials in the gurdwaras in Canada. As part of the visit, Trudeau will travel to Agra, Amritsar, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and New Delhi. In India, Prime Minister Trudeau will have sessions with youth, and he will visit religious places including the Taj Mahal, Golden Temple, the Jama Masjid, and Akshardham temple. He will also participate in many business and investment related meets to boost India-Canada partnership in business and trade.
As per the official statement, ” Canada and India enjoy a flourishing relationship, one that Canada is committed to further strengthening. Our two countries share much in common, including commitment to diversity, democracy, freedom, and the rule of law. This visit will build on these shared commitments as well as on recent meetings held between Prime Ministers Trudeau and Modi, and ministers from both countries.”
