CASH MEANT TO PROCURE ARMS FOR TARGET KILLINGS IN PUNJAB WERE TRANSFERRED FROM ENGLAND TO JAMMU RESIDENT, HELD

The Hush Post: In various cases pertaining to target killings, money was transferred from England to a certain Jagjit Singh Jaggi in Jammu. A total of 1,000 pounds were transferred. Subsequently, this money was given to Trilok Laddi to procure weapons. The weapons were bought and kept at Pathankot at Madhopur barrier. A photo of the weapons as proof was clicked and Whatsapped to a person in England to confirm that the money sent was actually being used for the purpose it was meant for. After that, the arms and ammunitions were delivered to shooters in Punjab for target killings. On Friday, one of the arrested Daljit Singh aka Jimmi was questioned by the Moga police regarding this. Subsequently, the chain of information led Moga police to Jammu where they arrested Jaggi and he was brought to Moga. On Saturday, Jaggi was presented in a Moga court and sent to police remand till December 5. Jagjit Singh’s mobile phone, laptop and bank documents were also confiscated.

In 2016, Jagtar Singh Johal and Taljit Singh Jimmi had sent 1,000 pounds to Jimmi’s close friend Jaggi through Western Union bank. He gave the converted Rs 90,000 to Jimmi’s cousin Laddi, who after one of the target killings hid the weapons used in crime at a village in Baghapurana, Moga.
