The Hush Post: A few days back, two pilots, a man and a woman, fought in the cockpit in a London-Mumbai flight. It started as argument and turned into a scuffle. Today a decision was taken that none of the two pilots will be able to fly henceforth for the next five years with any airlines. The decision to penalise them has been taken by the Directorate General of Civil Aviations for endangering the safety of the passengers.
As a result of the fight in the cockpit, which later on was witnessed by the passengers also, the cockpit was left without anyone to man the affairs.
In the aircraft 324 passengers and over a dozen crew members were travelling. The action comes into a force just 15 days after they were sacked by Jet.
Flight 9W 119 of January 1 was operated by two commanders one of whom slapped the other, a woman pilot and subsequently a fight took place between the two.
