Garbage burning would invite a fine of Rs 5,000 in Gurugram

Chandigarh: District administration of Gurugram will take stern action against those involved in garbage burning. A fine of Rs 5,000 would be imposed if anyone is found burning garbage in the open.

The orders were issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram Vinay Pratap Singh to the officers of the Municipal Corporation Gurugram, sarpanches and gram sachives. A new equipment to determine the level of pollution would soon be installed at Manesar. Such equipment have already been installed at Vikas Sadan, DLF, Maruti Suzuki plant and in the premises of Hero Moto Corp.
