The Hush Post: Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Jai Ram Thakur today chose 10 MLAs who were administered the oath of office at the historic Ridge Maidan, Shimla. More than 50,000 people gathered for the ceremony which was also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah.
In the new government the maximum representation is from Mandi and Kangra with Mohinder Singh and Anil Sharma being made ministers, apart from the CM himself, the trio representing Mandi. From Kangra district, Sarveen Chaudhary, Vipin Parmar and Kishan Kapoor were administered oath while from Shimla, Suresh Bhardwaj, the Shimla Urban MLA, Rajiv Saizal, the Kasauli MLA from Solan were also administered oath of office. Ram Lal Markande, the Lahaul Spiti MLA and Govind Thakur, MLA from Manali were also included as ministers. The portfolios will be given in a day or two.
