The Hush Post: Reliance Jio is out with its Republic Day offer. As per this offer, prices have been slashed and data limit has been increased. The 1GB a day Jio plan now gives 1.5GB. Also the limit on earlier 1.5 GB plan has been raised to 2GB a day. Now Jio users get 1.5 GB daily data with Rs. 149, Rs. 349, Rs. 399, and Rs. 449 recharge packs for 28 days, 70 days, 84 days, 91 days respectively. Also, users will get 2GB data for Rs. 198, Rs. 398, Rs. 448, and Rs. 498 per day.
The biggest change has been done to the Rs. 98 plan. The validity of this plan has doubled up, from 14 days to 28 days, but the data usage on the other hand, has gone from 150MB per day (or a total 2GB for 14 days), to a total of 2GB for 28 days with no daily capping. Apart from this, the company has also announced a fresh plan for the Jio users offering nearly a month of unlimited calls for Rs 49. As per the new plan, Jio phone users get unlimited voice calls for 28 days at Rs. 49. Apart from this, they will also get 1GB of 4G data, with no daily cap.
Meanwhile, Airtel has refreshed its Rs 149 prepaid pack. It now offers 1GB data a day. Apart from this, the Rs. 149 pack was also updated with unlimited calling on roaming. The unlimited calling is applicable on local, STD, and roaming calls also. Airtel has also revised its Rs 199, Rs 448 and Rs 509 plan. It now offers 1.4GB data per day, with validity of 28, 82, and 90 days respectively. Airtel has also announced a fresh plan of Rs 399 pack which gives 1GB of data a day for 84 days.
