The Hush Post, Chandigarh: Two persons were feared killed and six injured after an explosion in a boiler of an oil refinery in Panipat on Monday.
The injured have been admitted to a hospital. The investigations are being carried as to what led the explosion. In the recent years, the blasts in boilers are a very common occurrence. Most of these blasts took place due to avoiding the safety norms by the factory owners. One month back another blast had claimed five lives at Sasa Musa sugar mill in Gopalganj while in another one in Rai Bareilli 46 people were killed.
Simialrly, in November, 15 were injured when a fire broke out at a mill following an explosion in an oil tank on Hisar-Tohan road in Haryana.
