The Hush Post: A Sikh preacher, who had converted to Sikhism was sentenced to seven years jail and Rs 10,000 fine was imposed on him after being found guilty of kidnap and rape of a 20-year-old girl. The convict belongs to Bathinda.The court of Additional District and Session’s Judge, Bathinda sentenced the 35-year-old Sikh katha-vachak, Kedarnath Singh 7 years’ rigorous imprisonment on charges of rape and 3 years RI for kidnapping of the victim. The case was lodged against the accused in 2015. Kedarnath, the accused has three children and a wife. He was employed at the local courts but ever since has been dismissed. The accused was hands-in-glove with two women while executing the crime. Both were also sent to three years RI and Rs 3000 fine.
