THIEVES DECAMP WITH JEWELLERY OF A NEWLY-WED IN SECTOR 15 CHANDIGARH

The Hush Post: Thieves on Wednesday, broke into the house of a PGI para-medic at Sector-15, and decamped with gold and diamond jewellery and cash. A case has been registered in Sector-11 police station against unknown persons. The victim, Apoorva got married around a week ago. She had come to her parent’s home for the first time after the marriage along with her husband. In her complaint, she alleged that she had gone to the market after locking the main door of her house at around 12 pm on Wednesday. On her return, she found lock of the main door was broken. However, she said that she had forgotten to lock the almirah. When they were packing their bag and baggage they found that the locker of the almirah was broken and the jewellery was missing. According to her, one diamond ring, two gold rings, silver jewellery and cash around Rs 6,000 was stolen.
