Ludhiana, The Hush Post: Smog-hit areas might have to wait as moderate fog is likely to prevail in the region for a day or two. Partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers have been forecast in Ludhiana on November 15, 16 and 17 by the Indian Meteorological Department, New Delhi. In Ludhiana, mist will continue today with partly cloudy sky tomorrow. As of now, the western disturbance as an upper air circulation at 3.1 km above mean sea level persists over north Pakistan and Jammu & Kashmir.
Very dense fog has been observed at many places over Punjab, isolated places over Haryana and northwest Rajasthan. Dense fog is likely to continue at isolated places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi. Chandigarh will witness partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers from November 14 to November 16. Delhi will see moderate fog today, partly cloudy sky with possibility of development of thunder lightning on November 14, light rain or drizzle on November 15 . Shimla will have partly cloudy sky today with light rain predicted for November 15-16.
