Arjun Rampal’s brother-in-law booked for molesting airhostess

The Hush Post: Amit Gill, actor Arjun Rampal’s brother in law, has been booked by the Santa Cruz Police for allegedly assaulting an air hostess sexually. He also threatened to upload her nude pictures, which he had allegedly taken after sedating her with spiked drinks.

Not the first time when he has landed in trouble, Amit Gill, who is married to Rampal’s sister, Kamal, was arrested by the police last year in a betting case.

As per the FIR, the victim was introduced to Gill through a common friend. The common friend told the victim that Gill was a very influential man who could help the victim retrieve the 5 lakh rupees she had lent to someone in Dubai. Gill also said that he was in touch with intelligence agencies of various countries.

The common friend also told the victim that she had invested 80 lakh rupees with Gill, for which she was get a decent return every month.

It was under these circumstances that the victim first met Gill at a five star hotel in Bandra. The victim, who works for a Gulf based airline, also gave 18 lakhs to Gill, who promised to give her a return of 3 percent on her investment. While Gill paid her the interest, and also returned 12 lakhs out of the 18, he was not returning the remaining 6 lakhs.

When, despite trying to get back the money for over a year, Gill did not return the money, the victim threatened to go to the police, following which Gill sent her nude pictures of her which he had clicked.

“The victim said that she was shocked to find out that those were her nude pictures. She suspects that when the victim had been to the accused’s residence, he spiked her drinks and she lost conscience after which he molested her and shot her pictures,” a senior police officer from Santacruz police station said.

The victim’s family approached the Santa Cruz police station to file an FIR, and Gill was booked under IPC sections 328 (causing hurt by means of poison), 354 (sexual harassment), 506 (criminal intimidation).
