Panipat industrialist, Krishna Mittal was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on June 19 following a bowel infection. According to a report published in Bhaskar.com, Mittal didn’t recover from the illness and was declared dead three days later on Friday (June 22) evening. It took around 12 hours to complete the formalities at the hospital and the family hired an ambulance to transport the dead body back home on Saturday. The hospital authorities also provided a death certificate to the family.
Relatives asked to prepare for last rites
Mittal’s son Gaurav, who had accompanied him to Delhi, informed his relatives about his demise asked them to prepare for the last rites. Consequently, all the arrangements were put in place and the relatives started waiting for the dead body to arrive.’
Dead body started sweating
Instead, the family members received a message that Mittal was alive. Guarav claimed that as soon as they crossed Delhi limits, they saw Krishan Mittal sweating. The driver of the ambulance was quick to administer oxygen and he was suddenly rushed to Ravindra Hospital in Model Town, where he is said to be stable.
Dr. Ravindra of the Ravindra Hospital confirmed that Mittal was alive, though he refused to comment on the earlier developments.
Wife threw away death certificate
Going by the aforementioned account one is forced to believe the story. However, there are some questions which still remain unanswered. The family has claimed that Mittal’s wife Santosh threw away the documents from the ambulance while she was crying on her way back.
