Sanjay Singh stressed that the opposition parties have to come together to rout Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP.
The Hush Post: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) may truck with the Congress for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. Addressing party workers in Khanna (Ludhiana) today, AAP Rajya Sabha MP and former Punjab party incharge, Sanjay Singh said that his party was not averse to having an alliance with the grand old party of India to keep the BJP at bay. Sanjay Singh stressed that the opposition parties have to come together to rout Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP. He, however, didn’t refrain himself from stating that the Congress had failed badly in Punjab.
On his party’s absence from Anna Hazare’s indefinite fast in Delhi, Sanjay Singh said that AAP leaders took the decision as the Gandhian had asked all the political parties to stay away from his campaign. There are no differences with Anna, he reiterated.
Sanjay Singh, however, was seen avoiding the queries related to Arvind Kejriwal’s apology to Bikram Majithia and various other leaders. “I can’t say anything about Kejriwal, but I will never apologise to Bikram Majithia”, Jagran.com quoted him saying.
