The Hush Post: After Satyendra Jain, Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, who is on a hunger strike at Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal’s office, too has been shifted to a hospital on Monday, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal confirmed.
Sisodia’a ketone levels suddenly shot up to more than 7 and he had to be hospitalised. Yesterday his ketone levels were 6.4, the idea level though is zero.
Kejriwal, Sisodia, Jain, and development minister Gopal Rai had camped at Baijal’s waiting room since June 11. They had refused to leave till the time the L-G made IAS officers working in the Delhi government end an alleged strike.
AAP leaders along with thousands of party workers on Sunday marched towards the PMs residence in support of their ministers’ protest. They walked from Mandi House in central Delhi before being stopped by police near the Parliament Street police station.
Urging bureaucrats handling Delhi affairs to attend meetings called by ministers, Kejriwal said that he would ensure the safety and security of officers “with all powers available at his command.”
