A 20-year-old Punjabi youth was shot at in Brampton this Wednesday, June 19. Found injured in the area of Orenda Court and McCallum Court, he was taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to death.
Though the regional police did not reveal the deceased’s identity, the media reports say that he is Gurjot Singh who was from village Kuttiwal near Bathinda. However, the reason for the killing is still unclear.
The regional police stated, “On Tuesday, June 18, at approximately 10:45 pm Peel Regional Police responded to a 911 call in the area of Orenda Court and McCullum Court in Brampton. Upon arrival, the officer located the victim, a 20-year-old male from Brampton, suffering from what appeared to a gun-shot wound. The victim was transported to a trauma center where he succumbed to his injuries.”
