6 suspected terrorists arrested from train in Pathankot

In a sudden development, six suspected terrorists were arrested in Pathankot on Sunday evening. The suspects were on board Jammu Tawi Pooja Express. The police officials had to get the train stopped to get hold of the suspects. The train was going from Jammu to Delhi.
It was a joint operation conducted by the J&K Police and the Punjab Police.

Meanwhile, the special cell of the Delhi police arrested three terrorists owing allegiance to a terrorist organisation, Indian Islamic State of Jammu & Kashmir (ISJK). Arms and ammunition, grenades and explosives were recovered from them.

Two persons involved in the  Nirankari Bhavan blasts have already been arrested. In the past few days, there have been reports of movement of terrorists in the  border areas of Punjab. Photos of two terrorists were released in Delhi after they were noticed in the Paharganj area.
