The 11th season of the singing reality show ‘Indian Idol’ has been a topic of discussion because of the talented bunch of contestants. On the occasion of Diwali, business tycoon Anand Mahindra shared a video clip of a contestant from the show who hails from Bathinda.
Sunny works as a shoeshiner and his mother sell balloons to earn their living. Bathinda boy had left the judges amazed when he sang Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s ‘Afreen Afreen’. Anu Malik said that he felt as if Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan himself was performing on the stage.
