The Hush Post: With the arrest of five persons, the Ludhiana Rural (Jagraon) Police claimed to have solved a burglary at a house in Pandori village in which a woman was killed. One of the accused, who hatched this burglary, hailed from the same village.
Addressing a press conference, Ludhiana Rural (Jagraon) SSP Varinder Singh Brar said one Sukhmander Singh alias Goli, a resident of Pandori village had planned this crime along with his accomplices from Moga. Goli informed them about that particular house and four of his accomplices namely, Pinder Kumar alias Pinda; Baljit Singh alias Mota; Rajvir alias Bunty (all three residents of Lohara village in Moga); and Sandeep Singh alias Khosa of near Sain Dham Mandir Moga city. All the five accused have been arrested, the SSP said.
SSP Varinder Singh Brar said that on July 7, an FIR was registered at Dakha Police Station under sections 459, 460, 380 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) was registered on the statement of complainant Ramkali , who originally hails from Bihar and currently lives in Pandori village. The complainant stated that she, her daughter-in-law Sangeeta and daughter Vinod Kumar servant were living in Pandori village for the last 10 years. Her son Sudhir is in Bihar.
On the intervening night of July 6 and 7 at about 1 am, some unidentified robbers forcibly entered their house located besides a fish pond at Pandori village. They robbed them and injured her daughter-in-law Sangeeta, servant Vinod and Ramkali. Her daughter-in-law Sangeeta expired due to fatal injuries on the way to hospital.
The above said case has been traced by the team of Rupinder Kumar Bhardwaj, SP (Investigation), Ludhiana (Rural).
During Investigation of this case, it came to light that one Sukhmander Singh alias Goli of Pandori village had planned the loot along with his accomplices from Moga. Goli informed them and guided them to that particular house and four of his associates namely, Pinder Kumar alias Pinda; Baljit singh alias Mota; Rajvir alias Bunty (all three residents of Lohara village in Moga); and Sandeep Singh alias Khosa of near Sain Dham Mandir Moga city had committed the crime while he himself stayed away from the scene of crime, being from the same village. All the accused have been rounded up and weapons used in crime along with stolen articles has been recovered.
Further investigation is going on to reveal other crimes committed by the accused persons.
