In rage, Jalandhar man shoots pedestrian for being stuck in the traffic

In a fit of rage the car owner came out of and indiscriminately fired at Rajkumar. 

The Hush Post: In yet another case of road rage, a car-borne assailant shot at a man in Jalandhar after he couldn’t find his way through the crowd on a busy road. The attacker has been identified as a son of a local jeweller and has been arrested.

The incident took place in Abaadpura area of Police Station Division No.6 when Rajkumar, the victim, was standing outside a civil supplies store to collect his share of the free wheat. Since a lot of people had come to collect ration, the road outside the store got choked leading to a traffic jam.

At the same time, the attacker reached the spot in his car and kept on honking continuously to get the road cleared. However, the crowd refused to budge. Subsequently, in a fit of rage the car owner came out and indiscriminately fired at Rajkumar.

Rajkumar was seriously hurt in the incident and was rushed to the nearby hospital. Meanwhile, ASP Naveen Kumar and SHO 6 Onkar Singh Brar reached the crime scene and took the accused into custody.
