Illicit relations were the cause of the murder of deceased
The Hush Post, Khanna: With the arrest of three persons the Khanna Police claimed to have solved a blind murder that was committed one month ago. The arrested persons include the wife of the murdered man and illicit relations were the cause of the deceased’s murder.
The arrested persons have been identified as Gurpreet Singh alias Guri, Rajwinder Singh, both residents of Shahpur, and Rani, wife of the deceased man Surinder Singh, a resident of Jandali.
Khanna Police have registered a case under sections of 302, 120-B read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) in this regard. Khanna DSP Ranjit Singh Badesha said that complainant in this case Manpreet Singh , a resident of Jandali village, had complained that his father Surinder Singh was missing. He stated that when his father did not return the home on April 7, 2018 he started searching for his father on his own and he found that his father was last seen drinking with Gurpreet Singh alias Guri and one another unidentified person, But, his father never returned home after that day.
The complainant further stated that on April 12, he was informed that one dead body was found in canal near Amargarh. DSP Badesha claimed that after identified the dead body, the complainant express doubt on one Gurpreet Singh alias Guri.
The DSP further claimed that when the police detained Gurpreet Singh in this regard, he confessed his crime and narrated the entire story that he and deceased’s wife had illicit relations. But he was upset when the deceased always objected to their illicit relations. So, Guri, one of his friends Rajwinder Singh and Rani, wife of the deceased hatched a conspiracy to eliminate the deceased.
And after making Surinder Singh drunk on the day of incident and when he was ogt drunk they killed him and threw the body in the canal.
