The Hush Post: A vendor and his two accomplices performed circumcision on a 10-year-old boy to convert him in Machhiwara. The Machhiwara Police have booked the accused street vendor and his accomplices in this regard.
The boy suffering from pain went to Tempo Union in Kohara seeking help. The union members rushed the boy to a private hospital and informed the police.
After registering an FIR, the Machhiwara police have started investigating the matter.
The police have yet to identify vendor’s two accomplices. The victim told the police that the street vendor also used to beat him up.
Taking a serious note of this incident, some Hindu organisations have demanded the arrest of the accused.
Minor boy hails from Ghaziabad district in UP
The victim said that he hails from Mania village of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. After his mother died his father solemnized second marriage with another woman. Around 10 months ago his father left him on the train and he reached Machhiwara.
The boy added that he worked as domestic help in a house in Village Gurugarh for eight months and left. Last week, he reached Macchiwara where juice vendor Maufin, a resident of Indra Colony, Macchiwara employed him.
The boy alleged that Maufin used to beat him up and forced him to convert to Islam. On Friday night Maufin along with his two accomplices took him to the backside of the market. There they performed circumcision on him with a knife and fled leaving him bleeding.
He further added that on Saturday he reached tempo Union in Kohara seeking help. A member of union Inderjit Singh came for his help and rushed him to hospital.
Samrala DSP Jasvir Singh and Machhiwara SHO Inspector Rajesh Kumar reached the hospital and recorded the statement of the victim.
The police have lodged a case under sections 295, 326 and 34 of IPC against Maufin and his two accomplices. The police have launched a manhunt for the arrest of the accused.
