Jasnoor Kaur, Ludhiana: Ordinary tea gives an extra-ordinary taste when it’s served in old kettles at Tea Hut. This is a six-month-old café in the posh Sarabha Nagar locality of Ludhiana which attracts people with its delicious food that can titillate your taste buds and a mind blowing tea that can boil your mind.
“The owner of The Tea Hut has completely gauged the nerve of Ludhianvis i.e their love for tea. The ambience of this place attracts me like iron gets attracted to a magnet. It is a perfect place to hangout with friends or to carry a book along and read,” says a 26-year-old Rashminder Kaur a frequent visitor to the cafe.
The Tea Hut has an exclusive theme with bean bags and soothing colour combination, the guitar backdrop towards the corner, glass pots with plantation hanging on the walls and the brass teapots kept on shelves. “The place is beautifully maintained with a pinch of desi cutlery used. It gives you a feeling of pind (village),” says Harman Kaur, a student of Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women.
“It is a modern tea stall with desi tea pots and everything mentioned in Hindi. The wooden interior matches the vibes of the place and goes well with the theme. Bill in an empty kettle is the best and the most hilarious thing about this place,” says Japanjot Kaur, an interior designing student at INIFD.
Tea hut is best known for its tea and has all the kinds of teas ranging from a normal tea to various kinds of herbal teas to the green teas. They also have different kinds of white and black teas. The wide range is not only limited to tea. There are a wide variety of options of coffee, cold beverages, snacks etc.
A post-graduate student Akansha says, “Food is delicious here. Red sauce pasta and honey chilli potato are my favourite. I come here with my friends whenever we get time out of our busy schedules.”
The Tea Hut is one of the places which have received the highest ratings from people in Ludhiana. It has been appreciated for its fast service, friendly staff and good food.
