Rs 22.75 crore to be spent on developing Malhar Road as Smart Street Road
The Hush Post: Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh will be in Ludhiana on Sunday to hand over the appointment letters to unemployed youth at the state-level job fair. The event will be held at the Punjab Agricultural University grounds. The function is scheduled to start at 11 am. Apart from the selected young candidates, the representatives of recruiting companies will also be present.
He will lay the foundation stones of development projects worth Rs 159 crore for the industrial city. The Chief Minister will lay the foundation stones of projects including smart LED street lights worth Rs 22.75 crore, surface water based water supply projects worth Rs 46.50 crore for 24-hours water supply, sewage system rehabilitation project worth Rs 39.30 crore, water drainage system worth Rs 22.59 crore, Rs 22.75 crore for developing Malhar Road as Smart Street Road.
