Four from Ludhiana dead in Swift car accident in Ambala

Four persons on way from Ludhiana to Dehradun were killed in a road accident in Ambala in the wee hours of Friday.

The Swift car on its way to Dehradun rammed into a divider in Ambala. Just then, a truck being driven from behind crumpled into the car. The impact of the accident was such that the occupants of the car got sandwiched inside the vehicle.

One of the dead have been identified as son of Deepak Bansal, the owner of Bansal Paint Factory of Ludhiana. The other three are his friends who have been identified as Anshul, Arvind and Sanjay.

The car with number plate DL 9CW 3696 rammed into a divider of the Jail Pul road. When the accident happened the nearby police personnel of the BaldevNagar Police Station reached the spot on hearing the noise of the accident.

The accident was such that a cutter was used to evacuate the bodies of the occupants. The bodies have not been taken for the post-mortem to the mortuary of Civil Hospital, Ambala.
