Jagtar Singh Hawara acquitted in Ghanta Ghar bomb blast case of Ludhiana

The Ludhiana Additional Sessions court has Jagtar Singh Hawara in the 1995 Ghanta Ghar bomb blast case. Additional Sessions Judge Atul Kasana exonerated Hawara from the case.

Notably, a bomb blast took place on December 6, 1995, in which one Vinod Kumar was the complainant in this case.

The complaint against unknown men filed

A complaint filed against unknown people under Arms Act, Explosive Act and attempt to murder later led to arrest of the four accused.

Jagtar Singh Hawara, Paramjit Singh Bheora, Bikramjit Singh Billa and Baljinder Singh were the accused in this case. Hawara was arrested a few days after the blast.

Only Hawara was facing the charges in this particular case. His court hearing takes place through video conferencing from the Tihar jail. Paramjit Bheora, Bikramjit Singh Billa and Baljinder Singh have been acquitted in the case.

Today the Ludhiana Additional Sessions judge acquitted Hawara.
