“Soon to have knitwear machines that save water and also electricity,” says GMMSA EXPO INDIA participant

After presenting a grand show in Ludhiana, the GMMSA Expo INDIA 2019 concluded on a high note on Monday at Dana Mandi, Bahadurke Road. The exhibition helped the knitwear garment manufacturers by giving them a glimpse of the manufacturing machines, spare parts and tools all under one roof. However, approximately 60,000 people visited this exhibition.

The closing ceremony was organised by the Garments Machinery Manufacturers & Suppliers Association (GMMSA). Exhibition facilitated the exhibitors to participation and seek support for next year.

Harpreet Bhatia, CEO of Smart Events said, “This year we have tied up with GMMSA team to reduce event’s carbon footprint by making the event paperless. We have made registrations paperless and have used iPads with our proprietary software.”

“Our R&D team is always looking forward to save resources in whatever way. Our machines save about 700 litres of water on one cycle. That means over a year you may save crores of litres of water, thus preserving the environment,” said Sukhwinder Singh, Guruson International.

“We are looking forward to make machines that not only save water, but electricity as well,” he said.

Present during the ceremony were Ram Krishan, Chairman GMMSA; Narinder Kumar, President GMMSA; Gurpreet Singh, Amit Jain, Parmesh Wasist, Gurdev Singh, and other delegates. Guest of honour for the day were Vijay Danav, Vice President Shriomani Akali Dal; Anil Sharma, State President Punjab, Anti Terrorist front;  Major Singh, Director MSME DI Ludhiana.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman GMMSA, Ram Krishan, thanked all the exhibitors, participants and the organising team. Furthermore, President GMMSA, Narinder Kumar, said, “This year the exhibition has been an even bigger success setting another benchmark for the industry.”
