After about a year of its inception, the Lakewood School management shared the vision and mission of the school.

Expounding the ideology of the school, Principal Sunita Babu talked about the school being different from the other regular educational institutions. The management and the principal threw light on the need of the hour and what education today truly demands.

The students of grades 1, 2 and 3 gave a wonderful music performance under the flagship program ‘Sangeet 4 All’. It was followed by a dance performance symbolising motherhood. The students performed with great enthusiasm and hard work.

The director of the school in her vote of thanks propounded her support for the Pygmalion Effect. According to this phenomenon, if teachers were led to expect enhanced performance from children, then the children’s performance was enhanced.

The event ended with the students singing the Lakewood song followed by the national anthem. The press conference, attended by parents and stake-holders, left them confident about their trust in the institution.
