Woman tells husband, who works abroad she is pregnant & shows someone else’s male child as theirs’

Virpal Kaur’s husband works abroad and has two daughters. Her husband wanted a son so she informed him over the phone that she was pregnant. She asked one of her relatives that she wanted to adopt a child and the relative came in contact with Sarabjit Kaur, who has three children of her own but indulges in child trafficking for money. The gang member who nabbed the child from Phillaur, brought him to Ludhiana and handed over the child to Virpal Kaur who then took him to Bathinda. They told Virpal Kaur to whom they sold the child that the child belonged to a poor couple who already has five children, not telling her that the child had been kidnapped.
