The Hush Post, Ludhiana: A local court in Ludhiana on Thursday adjourned the case pertaining to attack on the convoy of Sant Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale on July 10.

The court of Additional Sessions Judge Jasbir Singh Kang adjourned the hearing in this case for July 10 as no witness was present in the case.

On March 17, 2016, a group of about 30-40 persons had attacked the convey of the Sant Dhadriawale nearby Barewal Road crossing. The attackers had planned the attack by holding a “Chhabeel” (sweet water for drinking) at the place of occurrence. In the attack, Sant Dhadriawale’s close aide Bhupinder Singh was killed.

An FIR was registered on the complaint of Kulwinder Singh, driver of Sant Dhadriawale against the accused under section 302 & 307 of IPC and was against accused Gagandeep Singh and 11 others.
