The Hush Post: In a mishap in broad daylight, an architect was shot to death by an unidentified assailant in Dugri, Ludhiana.
The incident took place at 10:30 am. The victim has been identified as Mandeep Bansal, a resident of Khanna Enclave on Dugri-Dhandra road.
After committing the crime, the assailant rode the motorcycle. However, later he abandoned the motorcycle and started walking.
Within hours of the murder, police was able to locate the man on a CCTV footage. Here the assailant can be seen walking on foot.
Since the culprit remains unidentified the motive which led to the murder is also yet to be ascertained.
Mandeep was about to shift to a house which was under construction at SBS Nagar, Ludhiana in a couple of days.
