Nurse arrested from Ludhiana on charges of reviving terrorism

Punjab Police has arrested two terrorists, including a woman, who allegedly were trying to revive terrorism in the state, officials said.

They were planning targeted killings of Hindu leaders, sources in the state police said according to a report.

The woman has been identified as Surinder Kaur, who was working as a nurse in a private hospital in Ludhiana city. The two arrested have been taken to Chandigarh for further investigations.

The other terrorist has been identified as Lakhbir Singh, who was earlier working in Dubai. They came in touch with one another through social networking sites and were Facebook friends.

As per the investigations both the accused were given the task to revive terrorism in Punjab. The two of them are receiving foreign funds too.
