The Hush Post: People ran riot after an overspeeding truck overturned near Chand cinema on the Jalandhar byepass road in Ludhiana. The truck was loaded with cartons of cold drinks. Traffic was affected for a little while as vehicles on both sides, ones going from Ludhiana to Jalandhar and the others entering the city, got stranded. The overloaded truck remained stuck on the bridge for quite a while before the police came to maintain the order.

The police reached the spot to assess the damage and got the road cleared.
