The Hush Post: The owner of Amarson Polymers, the Plastic manufacturing unit which recently caught fire and subsequently collapsed killing 12 persons, mostly firemen, has been arrested by the Ludhiana Police. Inderjit Singh Gola has been booked under 304 of the IPC. He has been arrested on the statement of fireman Surinder Kumar. Other sections also added against him are Sections 337, 338, 427 and 285 of the IPC, which in toto means causing grievous hurt to human life using any combustible material rashly or negligently to endanger human life. A case has been registered in police station Division No 2. In all 12 bodies were pulled out yesterday and a day before from under the collapsed five-storey rubble of the factory. The incident had taken place on Monday in the morning when the five-storey factory caught fire and subsequently collapsed. More than one dozen persons were buried under the rubble. When the factory caught fire nobody was inside. However, later while dousing fire, the fire brigade personnel were entrapped. The fire to the inflammable material was extinguished yesterday however another spark of fire put the fire brigade in another emergency mode today. However, the fire was controlled immediately.
