Ludhiana’s famous Aman Chicken raided by I-T Department

The Hush Post: Ludhiana’s very famous eating joint Aman Chicken was raided by the Income Tax Authorities. The raid revealed unaccounted cash worth Rs 1.5 crore.

The Income Tax department first went in to do a survey on Monday evening. But when the officials stumbled on unaccounted cash, they decided to raid the premises.

Post this Aman Chicken has surrendered Rs 55 lakh cash.

The Income Tax Officials were working under instructions from Principal Commissioner Avdesh Mishra. The raid was conducted by Joint Commissioner Manav Bansal and the officials of range 6.

Assistant Commissioner Amit Dahiya searched through the sale and purchase details of the shop. The raid was conducted on the suspicion of tax evasion by the famous eatery. They were seen suppressing sales and showing less profit.
