State Election Commission to visit Ludhiana on Feb 6, to hold meeting with officials & political parties

After five years, Ludhiana is ready for Municipal Corporation elections.

The Hush Post, Ludhiana: In view of Ludhiana Municipal Corporation Elections, The state Election Commissioner Jagpal Singh Sandhu will visit the city on Tuesday.

Sandhu would hold meeting with election officials regarding preparations of corporation elections and would also meet the representatives of various political parties.
Revealing about the visit, District Electoral Officer-cum- deputy commissioner Pradeep Kumar Aggarwal and additional district Electoral Officer-cum- additional deputy commissioner Neeru Katyal Gupta told that state election commissioner would hold a meeting with leaders of political parties including AAP, TMC, BSP, BJP, CPI, CPI (M), Congress, Shiromani Akali Dal and NCP from 10.45 am to 12.45 pm at local Circuit House.
Aggarwal said that any other organization if want to meet Mr. Sandhu, can come to meet from 12.45 pm to 1.30 pm.
Further, the state election commissioner would also hold a series of  meeting with administrative and police officials from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm, he added.
