Karan Pal Sekhon, one of the three political secretaries to Capt Amarinder Singh died on Friday night. He was 62. Karan passed away while he had gone to Egypt for family vacation.
According to the official sources in the Chief Minister’s Office, Sekhon suffered a heart attack while on a cruise with his family. He was immediately rushed to a military hospital where he was declared brought dead. Efforts were being made to bring his mortal remains as soon as possible.

He was a third generation loyalist of the Patiala royal family. He had been with the Captain since 1992. Karan worked for about seven years in a corporate house in Delhi. He studied at Bishop Cotton School in Shimla and later at the Government College, Chandigarh.
