The Hush Post: A 29-year-old man from Jaipur was brutally killed, his body was cut into pieces, stuffed in a suitcase and thrown on a roadside in Delhi. In this case, the police have arrested three persons, including a woman.
The deceased man has been identified as Dushyant Sharma. The victim was held hostage by the arrested accused persons who have been identified as a 27-year-old woman Priya Seth, a 25-year-old man Dikshant Kamra and 26-year-old Lakshya Walia. The trio had kept captive in a rented accommodation in Bajaj Nagar colony of Jaipur to extort money from him, Aas Mohammad ACP (Jhotwara) reportedly said.
ACP Mohammad said Priya Seth had befriended Dushyant Sharma on a social networking site and then she invited Sharma to her flat on May 2. When he came there, Seth asked him to five her Rs 10 lakh. When Dushyant Sharma refused to do so, Seth threatened to lodge a rape case against him, the ACP said.
The police officer said Priya Seth and her two friends, who were also present at the flat, later snatched Sharma’s ATM card and called up his father demanding Rs 10 lakh as ransom. After that Dushyant’s father deposited Rs 3 lakh into his bank account, ACP Mohammad reportedly said.
Besides, a transaction of Rs 20,000 was done from Dushyant’s ATM card, the ACP said.
The trio then strangulated Dushyant Sharma and chopped his body into pieces, the police officer said adding that the accused were involved in several other criminal cases in the past also.
