Villagers say that since the district is a border area sharing borders with Mahendragarh and Rewari, there are open fields with little habitation. The criminals find it a safe place to carry on criminal activities
The Hush Post: The women folk in the Rewari village where CBSE topper was gang-raped have alleged that another gangrape happened a week ago. A girl was raped in a primary school in Nayagaon, Kosli. This happens to be in the vicinity of the place where the latest incident took place. Though, out of shame, poverty and the girl being fatherless, nobody raised the issue.
As per a News 18 report, the women with covered faces say, two rapes have occurred in the area in the last 10 days. The villagers have also said that they would launch a massive agitation if the accused are not arrested in the Rewari gangrape case. Three days on, the police have not been able to apprehend the accused so far.
Villagers also say that since the district is a border area sharing borders with Mahendragarh and Rewari, there are only open fields with very less inhabitation. The criminals find it a safe place to carry on their illegal activities.
The women from the village said that villagers do not raise the issue, the police do not take any responsibility and the criminals have a field day.
