The Hush Post: India has finally lodged its fourth win in the Under-19 cricket World Cup with ease. Chasing a target of 217, India defeated Australia convincingly scoring 220 runs in 38.5 overs, with Manjot Kalra hitting a century and still at the crease when the match wound up. India became the only nation to win the ICC U-19 World Cup four times. India remained undefeated throughout the tournament.

Skipper Prithvi Shaw was dismissed by Will Sutherland at 29, Gill departed for 31 and Manjot Kalra continued to pile on runs till the end of the play. Play resumed after a short delay due to rain at the Bay Oval. The Indian bowling side functioned brilliantly, with Porel, Shiva Singh, Roy and Kamlesh Nagarkoti taking two wickets a piece.
