The Hush Post
IPL 2019 is on and cricket fans are having big time entertainment watching their cricket heroes perform on the field. But how many of these ardent fans really know that the cricket heroes are performing hard on the cricket ground as well as off the ground.
Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni shared a picture of this hardship on Instagram and wrote, “After getting used to IPL timings this is what happens if u have a morning flight.”
As a matter of fact the tight schedule of IPL matches left Dhoni and his wife Sakshi with no choice but to have a power nap at the airport. In the picture post, Dhoni and his wife Sakshi can be seen catching up some sleep on the floor of the airport.
MS Dhoni-led CSK had a victorious match on Tuesday night against Kolkata Knight Riders in Chennai. For the next match against Rajsthan Royals in Jaipur on Thursday, the CSK team had to catch an early morning flight on Wednesday.
The IPL matches being played this year are getting prolonged. Mohammad Kaif, the Delhi Capitals’ assistant coach, has expressed his concern over the duration of the matches. “Every match is finishing at 12 in the night. Umpires need to ensure that the match ends on time. Teams are taking up too much time on deciding which player should be fielded at what position,” Kaif told reporters before the match between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Earlier in the league, Ajinkya Rahane (captain of Rajsthan Royals) and Rohit Sharma (captain of Mumbai Indians) were fined for slow-over rates.
