Few hours after the release of one of the biggest film’s of the year, 2.0 starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, TamilRockers, an active piracy website, has leaked the entire movie in HD print. Fans are angry and are advising authorities to take action against Tamilrockers.
Despite the Madras High Court directing 37 internet service providers (ISPs) to block over 12,000 websites to prevent piracy of Tamil films, unfortunately the film leaked.
Directed by Shankar, 2.0 is India’s most expensive film, with a budget of around Rs 600 crores. The movie is receiving fantastic response from the audience on social media.
Soon after the news broke out, Oscar-winning sound designer, Resul Pookutty took to social media and requested Rajinikanth fans to teach a lesson to the culprits. He tweeted,

2.0 has been released on 10,500 screens all over the world. In the film, Rajinikanth plays a scientist and a robot. 2.0 is the sequel of 2010 blockbuster Robot, which also featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Akshay Kumar plays a mysterious technological monster who unleashes terror upon the city. It also stars Amy Jackson.
Earlier this month, Tamilrockers also leaked ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ starrer Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan in HD print.
