Chennai man dies of slits wrist | His friend pass on his blood in a liquor bottle to his girlfriend

A man in Chennai committed suicide by slitting his wrist, collected his blood in a liquor bottle, and handed it to his friend to give it to his girlfriend. The incident happened on Wednesday and the deceased has been identified as Kumaresa Pandian who is a carpenter.

According to the police reports, Pandian was in a love relationship with a woman for past few years. But a few weeks ago, she stopped answering his calls and also blocked him on social media.

An investigation officer of the case reportedly said, “The friend said Pandian tried to contact his girlfriend over phone and meet her several times but she did not respond. He appeared to be in depression; he had stopped talking to people and stayed away from home.”

According to the reports by the Times of India, Pandian met his friend Muthu on Tuesday night for a drink. Pandian broke a beer bottle and slit his left wrist and collected the blood in a bottle.

His friend tried to stop him but he threatened him with the broken bottle and asked him not to interfere. Then he gave the bottle to Muthu and asked him to give to his girlfriend as his final gift.

Muthu rushed him to the Chromepet Government Hospital but the doctors could not save him. The police said that he didn’t even allow the doctors to treat him. Earlier also, he tried to commit suicide but his friends had saved him. A case has been registered by Shankar Nagar police.
