As the mercury is rising in the Indian motor biking arena, Honda launches its naked street fighter CB300 this Monday, February 11. The new launched is priced at 2.41 Lakhs ex-showroom. Surely it will give a tough fight to BMW G310 R and KTM 390 Duke. The customers can choose between two colors which are Matt Crypton Silver Metallic and Candy Chromosphere Red.
Talking about the specifications, Honda CB300R sports comes with single cylinder 286 cc liquid-cooled, four-valve, DOHC engine. It churns out 30.4hp at 8,000 rpm and 27.4 Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. Weighing just 147 kg, it gives an excellent power to weight ratio. The fuel tank capacity is 10 liters and is good for city riding.
The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It sports a new muffler featuring a 2-room structure that delivers an efficient acceleration response. Front suspension is taken care of by 41 mm upside-down and rear by 7-level preload adjustable mono-shock. CB300R is equipped with IMU (Inertial measurement unit) dual channel ABS disc brakes.
It comes with all new digital multi-function speedometer and offers new features like gear shift warning lights peak hold function. Round shaped Neo Sports Café LED headlamp is built to provide excellent lighting. The length of the motorcycle is 2028 mm, width is 888 mm and height is 1053 mm. It has a wheelbase of 1344 mm, ground clearance of 151 mm and set height of 800 mm.
If we talk about engine displacement, then CB300R competes directly with 390 Duke and the BMW G 310 R. But its price of 2.41 Lakhs puts is quite close to Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 as well which is priced at 2.50 Lakhs for its base model.
With such great features and pricing, it will surely attract the Indian customers.
