The Hush Post: Popular mobile company Vivo launched its new mobile phone in India on . The Vivo V9 looks very similar to the iPhone X, as it features the ‘notch’ which was popularised by Apple in their recent flagship phone.
Costing Rupees 22,990, the Vivo V9 has a massive 24 Mega Pixel camera in the front, which will be make taking selfies and video calling to a whole new level. The rear camera features the dual cameras feature and is vertically aligned, with 16 MP + 5 MP.
The phone is 7.99 mm thick, and weighs 150 grams. It’s 2280×1080 pixels are stretched across a 6.3 inch screen, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It delivers a 90 percent screen to body ratio.
Vivo is also touting the AI-based Face Beautify app, which will help in selfie and video call beautification. It will also include a ‘portrait’ lighting effect, and comes with Face Access 2.0 which unlocks the phone using facial recognition.
Within, it comes with 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB storage, expandable upto 256 GB, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 chipset. Running on Android 8.1, it features the Oreo-based Funtouch OS 4.0 technology.
Other specifications include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and microUSB 2.0. The handset also comes with a 3260mAh battery.
The phone is available in a variety of colours which include Pearl Black, Champagne Gold and Sapphire Blue.
The phone can be pre-booked from March 23 onwards.
