In a horrific incident, a man allegedly killed his 80-year-old father, chopped the body into pieces, and stuffed them inside the house in seven buckets. The incident took place on Sunday at Krishnanahar Colony under Rachakonda commissioner zone in Telangana, Hyderabad.
The deceased Maruthi Kishan, was a former railway employee. Kishan, the victim’s son is the prime suspect and is absconding.
The incident came to light after neighbours complained of a foul smell emanating from Kishan’s home. Police was called which found several severed body parts of the victim in different buckets.
ACP G Sundeep said, “Human remains were found in six to seven buckets. Two women were found in the house; a woman and her daughter. The woman said that her son, Kishan, had killed her husband and chopped him into several pieces with a knife, before stuffing the body parts in buckets and running away”.
Meanwhile, the exact cause of the murder is yet to be determined. However, the police suspect that the accused killed his father over a financial dispute as Kishan was unemployed.
Also, a forensic team was called to collect the evidence. A case has been registered under Section 302 (Murder) of the Indian Penal Code. A search has also been initiated to nab the accused.
