Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) workers allegedly attacked a team of police and forest guards in Telangana. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media. One of the attackers even attacked Forest Range Officer C Anitha multiple times on her head with sugarcane sticks.
Chairman of local bodies’ and brother of local TRS MLA, Koneru Krishna is the one who is seen brutally attacking the women officer. The woman officer fell unconscious after the attack.
The incident took place in Sirpur Kagaznagar block of Komaram Bheem Asifabad district, during a tree plantation drive on Saturday. The team of forest guards had visited the area following the orders of the state government.

C Anitha told reporters that she was informing the locals that the team was merely obeying the orders of the government. Nobody listened to us, she said.
Meanwhile, the police has said that it is identifying the attackers and they will be arrested soon.
The plantation drive is a part of the Kaleshwaram irrigation project which the dream project of chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
