Temples of Mandi: Trilokinath Temple

temples@thehushpost.com: A spiritually enlightening and photogenic place, Mandi is a small district in the
Himachal Pradesh state of India. It is a tiny hill station, also known by the name “Choti kashi”. The variety of temples one can find here is extremely appealing. 81 small, large, ancient, and new temples can be found here. Along with several Hindu temples, the Buddhist, and Sikh community also finds place for their religious divinities.

Location- Trilokinath Temple is located in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, at a distance of almost 1 km from the Bus stand, at the corner of Bayas River. The temple signifies the worship of lord Shiva, with a three-faced image of the god. It is situated across old Victoria Bridge within old Mandi region. The highway across the place is Pathankot national highway.

Historical Significance- The temple was built by the Queen of the Raja of the Mandi region, Raja Ajbar Sen.  Being old in its architecture, temple attracts people for the ancient sculptures of Narda and Sharda, with several idols of other Hindu gods along with the main attraction, the deity Trilokinath, one form of lord Shiva.
