Two elephants spotted at national park in Himachal for the first time

The wildlife wing of the Forest Department in Himachal Pradesh has spotted two wild male elephants in Simbalbara National Park in Sirmour. Chief Conservator of Forest, Dr Sushil Kapta, Wildlife Forest Dept, confirmed that this is the first time that Himachal wildlife wing has picture evidence of wild elephants.
Simbalbara National Park is located in the Paonta Valley of Sirmour District, Himachal Pradesh. It shares its border with Haryana. It was created in 1958.
The Travel and Tourism department of Himachal Pradesh has preserved the park in its natural form.
