According to a report, the villagers were awestruck when two hot embers fell from the sky on Wednesday night. The villagers claimed these ambers to be meteorites. As per the report, the two hot embers fell down with a loud sound after it rained at the village falling under the jurisdiction of Charthawal police station area on Wednesday night, Kumar Dharmendra, the area Sub-divisional Magistrate (SDM) was quoted as saying in the report.
The stones have been taken into “safe custody” for investigation and only experts will tell whether they are meteorites, the SDM was quoted as saying.
